UNLOCKING THE MYSTERIES OF THE SWAMP...

"Sweet sketch of Swamp thing, and package art, from my friend Bobby Nash, he does great work, writing, art, he is really good!"

Another satisfied customer. Thanks for the kind words, Nathan Hamilton. I'm glad you like it.

Just a reminder to all that I take commission requests. Check out the Art/Sketches/Commissions tab above for more details or PM me though social media. The envelop art is a bonus and there's only one way to get it. You can order a commission or any of my books direct from me through this site. I can accept Paypal or credit cards. I also have the Big Box O' Books promotion and I also do art commissions. Just let me know

what interests you and I'll get you a price.

Commissions are $20 + $4 shipping and handling (the Post Office raised the rates as of the last commission I sent out. Commissions will be much like the ones pasted above. They are drawn on a thick 6 3/4" x 10 1/2" board and shipped flat. Contact me through email (bobby@bobbynash.com) or social media to set up your own commissioned piece.

As always, thanks for your support.

THE WRAP UP - TIGERCON!

I attended the first, of what I hope are many more to come, TIGERCON, an all-ages event held at Tucker High School in Tucker, GA on Friday, May 3rd from 1:30 - 5:30. During school hours, (1:30 - 3:30), the event was or students only and I answered a lot of questions about writing, publishing, and various questions about creativity and the creative process. It was an absolute amazing day.

Things slowed down for the after school part and the panels did not happen because of the low attendance, but I think the students had a ball. I know I did. It was amazing.

A big thank you to Adam Minott, Roberta Barber, and the Tucker high school librarians and teachers  for hosting the event and for inviting me to be part of it.

BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN!

I'm back in the office after being away for six days (three at a convention and three working on a film set) and boy did things pile up while I was away. This is the downside to being a one man band. There's no one to pick up my slack. ha! I'm back in the office today, moving slow, but ready to work. I am tired, achy (lots of standing, walking, and running on set), and medicated as I picked up a sweet little sinus infection from being outside in Georgia's crappy high pollen for three days. Trying hard to nip it in the bud so I don't lose my voice as I have a writer's conference on Saturday and a podcast interview on Sunday.

I've been thinking a lot about my writing career of late, which is moving as though it is stuck in quicksand. I guess that means it's sink or swim time so I will be making some changes to how I do things going forward so I can make my business a success. The first casualty of this looks to be conventions. I have been operating at a loss for a couple of years now on conventions. Sales never equal money spent on hotel and travel so, for the foreseeable future, I won't be doing as many Comic Cons and pop culture cons as in the past. There are some that are exceptions to the rule. I will still be at DragonCon, which is the exception to almost every rule. It is its own unique animal. I'll continue to do literary events, smaller one day shows, and the like as the costs attached to them are minimal (I already have some posted on my website), but I have to cool it on the two and three three day shows for a while unless they want to cover my travel/hotel costs, which has happened in the past. It's a shame, as I love the cons, but from a business standpoint, this is what I have to do right now. Plus, this will give me more time at home to write.

Fear not, I am not going anywhere. I plan to keep on writing and putting out books that I hope you will all want to read (please, tell your friends too) and you can still get autographed books from me directly through www.bobbynash.com , www.ben-books.com , or by messaging me directly on social media. I am not hard to find.

Well, I've got six days of backlog to get caught up on so I will sign off for now and get to work.

Thanks for listening.

Check out the SNOW lights. Clever, huh? I hope they are real attention getters.

Box Art Friday!

If you saw the Wonder Woman commission that was included in a Bobby's Big Bingeable Box O' Books Bundle, you know what comes next. That's right! It's Box Art Time! When people ask why I don't do likenesses, this piece is why. It's the 10th Doctor, but the face does not look quite right. Hopefully, the TARDIS in the background gets around that.

Want to get your own Box Art? All you have to do is buy something from my website or me directly and I will doodle on your box or envelope. Deal alert: get a sketch, 7 autographed books, and a DVD for only $50! This bundle makes a great gift too! Hit up Bobby's Big Bingeable Box O' Books Bundle HERE.

ENVELOPE ART RETURNS!

I mailed out some cool stuff today so you know what that means... it's envelope art time. Today's envelope sketch features the USS Enterprise at Warp Speed! #StarTrek

The ladies at the Bethlehem Post Office saw me walk in and the first thing they said was "let me see what you've drawn today!" I'm glad they get a kick out of the sketches too.

The Jones Method...

BOX ART TUESDAY!

I had to mail out a package so here's today's box art: a pulpy p.i. The color did not want to stick to the piece with tape on it, which is a bummer. I enjoy adding these little doodles to orders I ship out direct from my website.
