DANTE'S UPDATE!

Valhalla Books has sent out the digital editions to those who backed the Kickstarter pre-order for Dante's Tenth and Dante's Showdown, the first two books in an all-new western horror/thriller from award-winning author Bobby Nash. Covers by Jeffrey Hayes.

The paperbacks are currently at the printer and will be going out in a week or so, once they arrive to be signed and packaged.

GEEKY THURSDAY!

No spoilers, but today was a good day for my geeky fandom. 

I started the day with the Star Trek: Picard season 3 premiere, which I enjoyed. Then, the afternoon brought a trip to the theater to see Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, which I also enjoyed. 

Though neither will make the top spot on the list of shows/movies with these characters, there was a lot to like about each and I had fun. I call that a win.

TAKE SNOW TO LUNCH!

It's an exciting time in #TheSummerOfSnow! I'm always trying new #FreshSnow ideas. I ran across a way to make a custom lunchbox so I made one featuring #Snow. It came out great. Sadly, the cost makes offering it through my store a bit tough. I would have to charge $50 to turn a tiny profit so that's probably not going to happen unless I can find a way to get the cost down. This is the same reason the Snow puzzles never happened. Not cost effective. Still, if anyone really wants one, we can work something out. I'm just excited to have it for my Snow Shelf in the office. It looks great. I dig it.

HE WILL RETURN!

And she rides. I finished up the last script for a 4 issue comic series today. Then, I gave all 4 scripts a polish, tweaked some dialogue, and made some adjustments before sending it to the publisher for edits and approvals. 

In addition to being a comic book, this is also being adapted for streaming. I don't have any details on that part of it, but I'm excited to see how it comes together. 

The publisher gave me this teaser image to share. It's called 'Resurrection' and is a brutal, R-rated super-hero revenge thriller. Right up my alley. Stay tuned for more details when I have them.

Cool news out of Australia. Glowing Eyes Media is re-releasing The Wraith novels with new trade dress for a unified look to the entire series. These books are a lot of fun. Frank Dirscherl has created a great character. I was thrilled to co-write Sanderson of Metro with him. I'M JUST A BOB!

School House Rock turns 50! WOW! I recall this from my childhood, of course, but my favorite School House Rock related memory comes from 2011 when I worked as an extra on the USA Network TV series, Necessary Roughness. We were filming an entire season's worth of the football games in the span of a week. That meant we were multiple fans for multiple teams. It was a lot of fun. During one of the downtime moments in the Georgia Dome, someone instigated a sing-a-long of Conjunction Junction that got the extras, cast, and crew all chiming in. It sounded pretty cool echoing around the dome. Fun times.
