THE RETURN OF "SOMETIMES I GET ASKED STUFF..."

 

In an effort to get my YouTube channel moving, I'm considering a video version of my old "Sometimes I Get Asked Stuff..." column I used to post to my website. If there are any questions about writing or publishing you've ever wanted to ask me, feel free to send them along and I'll answer them in a video.

A PERK OF WRITING COMIC BOOKS!

There's nothing quite as exciting as getting comic art in your inbox. I saw several pages of pencil work for an upcoming comic I wrote today and they look good. Sadly, I can't share any of it yet, but I'm excited. Details when I can share them. This is one of the great perks of writing comics. I love it.

HOW I DRAW BOOKMARKS... A TUTORIAL.

I've often said that Snow is my love letter to old p.i./detective shows of the 70's and 80's. Snow island gives us a two-fer. First, a trip to Hawaii, a staple of 70's and 80's fare. Also, this one could conceivably be considered a backdoor pilot. If the Brooks Brothers are well received, who knows, perhaps they'll get their own book. Not unusual for Bobby Nash and BEN Books. HORSE SHOW!

I had a great time MC'ing the Gypsy Hollow Horse show today. The kids were great and a fun time was had by all as we braved the heat together. It was fun. I haven't MC'd an event in quite a while. Nice to know I still got it in me. Nice to be back in the writing office enjoying the A/C though.
