Tonight, I'm doing galley proofs on my story in The Wraith anthology from Airship 27 (coming so very soon) and I have 2 sets of author interview questions I'm answering.

Not a bad way to close out 2019 and ring in 2020.

I managed to get in around 3,000 words or so tonight, which was a good writing sprint. Not a bad way to end the night, but it's time to push away for a bit. A little TV then time to call it a night. Lots to do tomorrow before heading to the Decatur Library Friday evening for "Another Evening with Authors You Should Know" event. Should be a fun time.

A ROCK...

I've been at the desk hard(-ish) at work all day. I just pushed back and realized that, busy though I have been, I've accomplished very little. It's the writing equivalent of "I got a rock" and I hate it when that happens. Time for a dinner break then back to work.

TODAY'S WRITING...

A Suicide Bomb tease.

Another busy day. Got off to a slow start since I slept in today, which was rather nice after a full day yesterday on the go. It's been a hectic week, last week. We buried a relative and received bad news on another health-wise, which has slowed things down a bit, but I am working to get back on track (I never seem to be able to stay on that track, do I?). I added over 1,000 words to a novella that's almost done and I got the next chapter of my serialized novel, SUICIDE BOMB uploaded and ready for Patreon on Tuesday. I had a nice evening/late night writing session. Added a couple thousand words to the current novel in process. I also did some research on fire ants, which was both fascinating and terrifying at the same time. Gee, wonder what I'll dream about tonight. Heh. #amwriting

BIRTHDAY BLUES AND REDS...

I had a nice lunch out at Your Pie with my dad and brother. We stopped off for a DQ dessert after. Not a bad birthday even though it's my first without mom here to join us, which bummed me out more than a little bit this morning.

I capped the lunch off by buying myself a present. I picked up Avengers: Infinity War on Blu Ray and plan to enjoy it tonight after I get some writing done.

GAH!!! LONGHAND!?!?!

This was me yesterday...

When there's nothing happening on set, I write. When I stupidly forget to bring my laptop, I write the old fashioned way. I haven't written a story long hand in years. It's an interesting feeling, but at least I can get a jump on this short story deadline.

Today's office. It's an Absolutely gorgeous day here in Bethlehem, Georgia so I took the laptop and headed to the outside office. I'm loving these nice temps. #amwriting

Today's office... Naturally, one of the neighbors started mowing after I got set up, but I don't care. There's beautiful weather. I plan to enjoy it while I write.

I was planning to head outside to write today, but it was all yellow and messy. Everything is clean now, but still wet. Maybe I'll get out there tomorrow. 

Today, I'm in the regular office working on Snow Trapped.

TODAY'S OFFICE...

Not my usual view.

Our hero!

Today's office. Sitting at my dad's kitchen table, trying to get some writing done while he watches the race. Have to get him up once an hour to walk. He's making good progress recovering from his knee replacement surgery.

Writing is odd. I already wrote the last line of the chapter. Now, I'm writing to reach that point. It's funny how that happens. I was feeling stuck during this fight scene and wasn't sure how to end it. Then, it came to me so I wrote the last line and now I'm filling int he blanks from where I was to that ending.

I'm also having fun peppering this bar filled with magic users with characters from comics, books, and movies. Subtly, of course.

TODAY'S OFFICE... HEY! WHO'S THE REAL VILLAIN HERE? (UPDATED)

Today's office... start of the writing day.

I'm enjoying another beautiful spring day here in sunny Georgia. Have to get in the outdoor office writing time in while I can. It's much to hot and humid to sit out here all day during the summer. Today, I'm seeing how Abraham Snow is going to get himself out of this jam I've put him in. Am I the villain here? :)  #amwriting 

Today's office... time to pack it up and head indoors.

I've reached that point in the evening where I can no longer work outside. The sun hits at just the right angle to make it hard to see the laptop clearly. Even the shade doesn't help. A good day of writing so far.still a bit more to do, but now it's break time. #amwriting 

TODAY'S OFFICE... AND A NIGHTVEIL TEASE...

Today's office. Before the temps get too high, I'm back in my outdoor office to get some writing done. On the screen at the moment is page one of my Nightveil digest novel for Pro See Productions. Will also do some work on Snow Drive for BEN Books today too.

Can't spoil much, but here's the first line of Nightveil. This is a first draft so it is definitely subject to revision.

TODAY'S OFFICE: RAINY DAY EDITION...

After accomplishing next to nothing writing wise yesterday, I'm back in my outdoor office to get some work done. It's overcast and we've had rain, but right now it is pleasant and not too hot. Didn't even need my fan today. #amwriting

I'm back at work on The Wraith: Sanderson of Metro novel. Nearing the end, which is cool. At the beginning, the end always seems so far away. It's always an interesting feeling when I can see the finish line ahead.

I love it when inspiration strikes, but it always seems to happen at the most inopportune moments. I've added these notes to the to do file and have added this to my open projects board so I can get it scheduled. It's been a while since I did a sci fi story. This new idea has me excited. Hopefully, it will still be as exciting when I can get to it.
