I just finished chapter one, which brings a couple of new characters to Dante. I'm getting to know the Pommel Brothers; Hank and Josiah. I've got a few fun ideas for them.

THE WRAP UP-- GEORGIA LIBRARIES CONFERENCE 2024!

I had a great time Thursday at the Georgia Libraries Conference in Athens, GA. This was a fun event and my first time attending. I met some wonderful librarians, talked books, sold some books and art, and was even an answer of the conference bingo card. That was fun. It also gave me a good excuse to talk up Evil Ways, which I wrote while taking a nighttime writing course called "Murder and Mayhem for Fun and Profit" with Harriette Austin. Fond memories of those days.

CELEBRATING NATIONAL COMIC BOOK DAY!

 

Today is National Comic Book Day. I love comic books. Comics were the first stories I learned to read as a kid. I love the format. As a writer, comics were my first path to publication. I still love writing comics as much now as I did then. Not only are the fun to write, but I have worked with, and gotten to know, some incredibly talented people doing comics and attending cons & other events.

I love comics and I hope to continue writing them for many years to come. Here's a sampling of some of the comic books & graphic novels I've written over the years. Thanks for taking this journey with me. There's more to come.

On Saturday, September 28th from 9:00am - 10:30am, I will be doing a session called "How to Have a Successful Author Event with Bobby Nash" and I would love for you to join me. I will be there on Saturday only.

Session Description: Most authors get that sinking feeling in the pit of their stomach when they hear the words promotion and marketing. Author events can showcase a writer’s work to potential new audiences. We’ll look at potential venues, where to learn about events, how to approach them about potentially doing an author event, and what comes after you set one up. We’ll look at what to bring, how to manage your expectations for events, how to promote the event before, during, and after. We’ll use physical examples, view photos from events, and offer helpful information to follow up post-conference.

DRAGON CON PHOTOS AND ART!

I had an amazing time at Dragon Con this year. So many great things to unpack.
