SOMEHOW I MISSED ANNOUNCING THIS ONE-- BOBBY INTERVIEWED BY AUTHOR A.E. ALBERT!

Somehow I missed this one. On August 14, 2015 (my birthday, coincidentally enough), an interview I did with author A. E. Albert went live on her blog and I somehow completely missed it so I didn't share it around. Apologies to A.E. for not publicizing it.

Please check out the interview here and leave a note of thanks to A.E. for conducting author interviews.

Thanks.

Another week means another Strong Will sneak peek. This is one of my favorite panels from the book. I really latched onto this panel when I first saw the pencils. I am so excited to see this project nearing it's conclusion so we can get it out to the readers.

A RUBY FILES VOL. 2 SNEAK PEEK!

Ruby Files Art in Progress by Nik Poliwko
Artist Nik Poliwko shared a work in progress pic on an illustration for my story, "Takedown" appearing in Airship 27's "Ruby Files, Volume II" noir detective anthology, coming soon...

I am loving Nik's illustrations for volume 2 of The Ruby Files. I have seen the finished version of the image in process above and it is absolutely gorgeous. I'm looking forward to getting this one out there to the readers. We think it will prove well worth the wait.

SECRET AGENT X GETS A NEW 5 STAR AMAZON REVIEW!

Big thanks to reader James Blakely for his great Amazon review of Airship 27's Secret Agent "X" Vol 4. Much appreciated, sir.

SAX Art: Rob Davis
A bit from the review:
MOUNTAIN MEN OF THE LOST VALLEY is the lead-off story and my favorite. Secret Agent X plays an old style James Bond-type character, as he must escape from a Soviet Era Kiev with encrypted secret tape and no back-up. But no sooner than he escapes the frying pan does "X" land in the fire, ironically in the Swiss Alps, when what he hopes is a peaceful train ride home is fraught with peril from a lost civilization of "mountain men." This story is loaded with thrills and plenty of fisticuffs and slight of hand from "X." Plus, there's a nice twist ending that few will see coming.

Thanks again.

WRITERS READ-- OR DO THEY?

Bobby Nash reads
I joined a large group of writers on Sean Taylor's Author Roundtable segment at his Bad Girls, Good Guys, and Two-Fisted Action blog. This week's topic asks the question, do working writers still have time to read?

From the site?
It's said over and over again... Writers read. But, just how true is it? We went to a group of published authors and asked them to get real about just how often they pick up a book and read (and how and when they do that).

This week's questions:

Stephen King reads
How often do you actually read? (Not wish you read, or would like to have readers think you read, but actually, truly read.) How often do you read a book, as opposed to smaller options like newspapers or magazines?
Where and how do you do most of your reading? Do you set aside time for a long read before bed, for example? Or do you snag the time available with an e-book while taking a kid to the dentist or on a break from a day job?

What percentage of your reading is printed books? What percentage is using digital formats? Do find having options like digital give you more opportunities to indulge in reading?

You can read all of the answers here.
