SNOW ART UPDATE!

#TheSummerofSnow rolls on with a closer look at Jeffrey Hayes' work on the Snow cover/poster art. This is just one corner of the image. I love it!

Bobby

From Jeffrey Hayes: Work continues on Bobby Nash's "Snow" promotional poster / book cover, so here is this week's sneak peek. This image is the lower left quadrant of the piece and features Snow chasing an armored Jeep that just has to be stopped. Looks like it will happen after a few well-placed rounds from an ally in the air. Check back next week for more sneak peeks of the work in progress. #thesummerofsnow

COVER TEASE...

I got a sneak peek at the cover art for an upcoming book release last night and loved it. Unfortunately, I can't share more than this little tease right now. I will show off the full cover once the publisher releases it for view.

Until then, enjoy the tease.

Ain't I a stinker?

WHOSE EVIL WAYS WAS IT AGAIN?

Maybe Coca Cola was on to something, eh? :)

The original cover
People are going gaga over these Coke's with their names on them. Maybe I should just start putting random names on the covers of my BEN Books novels. Think that would convince people buy them? I don't know.

What do you think?

As always, you can learn more about Evil Ways here.

THE HUNT IS ON!

Cover Sketch: Jamie Chase
Shared from editor Michael R. Hudson on social media: “This is a Jamie Chase rough of what will become a painting for ________________. Nah, I'm not sayin'. Heh, I think I'll just let you guess. Here's a hint. Bobby Nash has something to do with it.”

Coming Soon.

Of course, eagle-eyed viewers of this site can probably guess what book this drawing will be painted to cover. Keep watching this space for details as soon as they become available.

COVERED IN TEASES!

Cover Art: Jeff Hayes
Pro Se Productions’ head honcho, Tommy Hancock shared the above cover tonight on the official Pro Se Facebook page. I am one of the authors involved with this project. I can't say much more than that yet. You’ll have to wait until the publisher releases the full details.

I’ll keep you posted.

Stay tuned.

A Pro Se Productions tease…
One of the most exciting pieces of news out of 2013 was the acquisition of a license that has seen life primarily in the comics and will be making its Pro Se debut in prose by a hot handful of great authors, including its creator, in mid 2014. Take a gander at a character study Pro Se artist Jeff Hayes worked up as he crafted the cover for this most awesome of collections... coming soon from Pro Se Productions.

BRAAAAAIIIINNNSSS...

Cover Pencils: Kurt Belcher
A closer look
Artist Kurt Belcher is working on a new zombie comic book project and was looking for a few real-life folks to portray zombies on the cover. Although the face is a bit obscured, you might recognize one of them as me, which is very cool. Can you spot me? I’ll post more information about Kurt’s project when it’s available. Click on the image above for a larger view.

Thanks, Kurt.

TIME TO CALL IT A DAY!

Busy day. Worked on updating both the BEN Books website and this one as well. It's taking longer than I'd hoped to get everything in place, but it needed to be done. Plus, I worked on a multitude of assorted behind the scenes activities that are all part of the job.

I also spent a few hours working on the cover of an upcoming release called Earthstrike Agenda, a sci fi novel I wrote a few years back that I'll finally be relelasing this year (more about that when it gets a little closer, but here's a peek at the title font I'm thinking about using).

No actual writing on the story today though, but I’ll get back to that tomorrow.

All in all it was a good day. How was yours?

This image was floating around Facebook today and I thought it was cool enough to share. Click on the image to see a larger size.

This can also apply to writers and any other creative endeavor.
