SKINWALKERS - CREEPSHOW SCREENSHOTS!

I made a small appearance in the 6th episode of Shudder's new Creepshow called "Skincrawlers" that premiered Halloween night. I play Mr. Simmons (before). Don't blink or you'll miss me. Screenshots below.

Bobby
Dana Gould in Skincrawlers (I'm just off to the right of this shot).

Roxanne Benjamin directed a Creepshow story called Skincrawlers, written by Paul Dini and Stephen Langford. Creepshow is produced by Greg Nicotero. I have a small role in this episode as Mr. Simmons (before). Don't blink or you'll miss me.

Dana Gould stars in the story of a man who considers a miraculous new treatment for weight loss that turns out to have unexpected complications. I can't spoil anything about the episode, but look for me in a small role near the beginning of the episode.

Skinwalkers premiered on Halloween night, October 31, 2019 on AMC's Shudder.

THE WRAP UP--THE SAVANNAH QUILL SWEETS, TREATS, AND READS FALL FESTIVAL!

I was a guest at The Savannah Quill Sweets, Treats and Reads Fall Festival on October 20, 2018 in Savannah, GA. The convention ran from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Cottonwood Suites in Pooler, Georgia, just one exit up from Savannah.

Adam Messer put on a great event in a nice convention space. Sadly, there wasn't much turnout from people coming to the event, which is a shame because there was a lot of good stuff there to see and do from authors and vendors alike. There were panels as well. I was on a panel at 1 p.m. along with authors Monica Floyd and John Stamp to talk about being an indie writer. It was a fun panel.

I had an amazing time and meet some cool new folks as well as catching up with friends. I hope they will be able to do another Savannah Quill festival. There's a lot of potential here.

I had also planned to head down I-95 about 99 miles to Kingsland, Georgia to tour the Stage 9 sets where Starship Farragut and Star Trek Continues were filmed. I love the sets and was looking forward to spending time visiting. Alas, as happens, things got in the way that kept me away from touring that grand ol' ship again. To those who were able to make it down for the open house, I hope you had a great time. I am loving seeing all of the photos posted.

THE WRAP UP-- HALLOWCON 2017!

I had a fun weekend at HallowCon in East Ridge, Tennessee this weekend. My voice is still less than ideal so apologies to those who saw me for not being as talkative as I normally like to be. Big thanks to Joe for inviting me. He and his crew took great care of us and kept us fed.

The Starship Farragut screening on Saturday was well attended and several DVDs found their way to good homes. The No SH#!  This just happened! panel was a wild time. None of had any idea what the topic was truly about so we winged it. There were a lot of laughs.

Starship Farragut screening
It was also great hanging with the other guests and attendees, including Jeremy Hicks, Kindra Sowder, D.A. Adams, Santiago Cirillo, Stephanie Osborn, KT Hunter, Tamara Lowry, and J.L. Mulvihill, who also celebrated her 28th wedding anniversary that same weekend and the con and her husband had a nice surprise for her. I'm sure there are others I am forgetting. No slight intended. My sickly brain, still recovering from allergies, simply doesn't remember.

I hope you all had a wonderful con.

THE COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN VISITS THE HOUSE OF HORRORS!

Instead of watching horror movies as a lead up to Halloween, I like to watch Halloween themed TV episodes.

The Countdown To Halloween continues with FX: The Series' "House of Horrors" episode. A lot of homage to old horror flicks in this murder mystery episode from season 2. Fun stuff from a fun 90's show based on the FX movies. Special Effects Guru, Rollie Tyler, played by Cameron Daddo, finds himself mixed up in crime solving cases often, helping out the NYPD, the FBI, and old friends in trouble. Also starring Cristina Cox, Kevin Dobson, and a pre-Matrix Carrie-Anne Moss.

FX: The Series was a little bit movie magic and a little bit MacGyver, but it was fun TV.

I wasn't able to do as many Countdown To Halloween posts as I had originally hoped as life, work, and family got in the way, you know. I hope you've enjoyed the Halloween posts. I've had fun re-watching these shows.

THE COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN CONTINUES-- MACGYVER'S HALLOWEEN KNIGHTS!

The Countdown To Halloween continues!

Instead of watching horror movies as a lead up to Halloween, I like to watch Halloween themed TV episodes. I haven't been able to devote as much time to this as I'd hoped this Halloween season, but I was able to get back into the swing of it with the "Halloween Knights" episode of MacGyver (the 80's version, not the new show).

Mac teams up with arch-nemesis, Murdoc to save the assassin's sister and stop H.I.T. (Homicide International Trust), a league of hired killers at a costume party on Halloween.

You can catch the episode on CBS streaming here.

THE COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN BEGINS-- BOOGIEMAN!

The Countdown To Halloween begins!

Instead of watching horror movies as a lead up to Halloween, I like to watch Halloween themed TV episodes. I started off this Halloween season with Quantum Leap's "Boogieman." This is quite possibly one of my favorite episodes from the series.

Everything goes wrong when Sam leaps into a Gothic horror novelist on Halloween.

You can watch the episode for free here.

Fat Chance movie poster
Deviant Pictures has released the first trailer for the comedy/horror flick, Fat Chance. I play Clark Wagner in this movie and you can catch 3 quick shots of me in the trailer. Ain't It Cool News did a nice write up on Fat Chance as well. You can check it out here.
