SNOW FALLS ON A NEW 4-STAR AMAZON READER REVIEW! #THESUMMEROFSNOW

We love reader reviews! A Big #TheSummerofSnow thank you to author Mark Bousquet for his 4-STAR Amazon Reader Review and kind words for SNOW FALLS.

"Snow rises! In the afterword, Bobby Nash writes that SNOW FALLS is inspired by the TV shows of earlier decades, and that's exactly what SNOW FALLS feels like. Heck, the only thing missing is an accompanying Post/Carpenter theme song. Nash has created a character in Abraham Snow that feels like an old friend. Like Thomas Magnum or "Skid" McCormick or the dudes from Riptide, the appeal with Snow is having an engaging escort through the action you expect. Through it all, Nash makes the familiar feel fresh. While some of the pacing is slowed a bit because this is the first in the series and there's a range of secondary characters to establish, SNOW FALLS is, by and large, a satisfying page turner. I'll be back for more Snow stories in the future."

Read the full review on Amazon HERE.

SNOW FALLS is written by Bobby Nash. Cover art by Dennis Calero. Audio narration by Stuart Gauffi. Published by BEN Books.

SNOW FALLS is available in paperback, ebook, audio, and hardcover (in the SNOW Series 1, Vol. 1 collection). Read it FREE with Kindle Unlimited. Sign up for Audible and get two FREE audio downloads. Learn more about Snow at www.ben-books.com or below.

85 NORTH GETS 4 STARS IN NEW AMAZON READER REVIEW!

A huge thank you to Erin Penn for the 4 STAR Amazon review of 85 NORTH. You can read it HERE or below. It is much appreciated.

"A collection of eight short stories by Bobby Nash, most previously unpublished for one reason or another. The best of the collection "pop" with action, the worst get bogged down in set-up. The short stories show Mr. Nash's growth as an author. I wish the date they were written had been provided. My Faves: (1) 85 North (8) Showdown at Broken Eagle. My least liked: (3) Gypsy"

Thanks again, Erin!

Bobby's Book Review: I Never Meant To Start A Murder Cult and Other Stories by Darrell Z. Grizzle!

Bobby's Book Review: I thoroughly enjoyed my friend Darrell Grizzle's chapbook, "I Never Meant To Start A Murder Cult and Other Stories." I mean, I was sold on the title alone. The 9 stories that make up this book are great tasty nuggets of horror/thriller goodness. Darrell tells some truly spooky tales here that make me want to read more. Highly recommended. 4 Stars.

Bobby's Book Review: Jessica Jones "Blind Spot"

Book review. I read and enjoyed the new Jessica Jones trade collection titled "Blind Spot" from Marvel. The creative team of Kelly Thompson and Mattia De Iulis gave us a good Jessica Jones story, an intriguing mystery, and some surprises along the way. Most importantly, they did their own thing and did not try to copy the Bendis/Gaydos team who had spearheaded the series since its inception. I give this one 4 Stars.

My one complaint is that the trade ends with "to be continued..." My fear is for those who pick up the next Jessica Jones trade without knowing it's part 2. Nothing on the cover or spine of "Blind Spot" mentions a volume number or anything. That minor quibble does bug me quite a bit, but that doesn't distract from the story.

Now available at your favorite comic book retailer.

BOBBY'S BOOK REVIEW: DARK SACRED NIGHT BY MICHAEL CONNELLY!

I finished the latest novel by author Michael Connelly today. As always, a great read.

In 'Dark Sacred Night', Connelly teams up veteran character Harry Bosch with his latest character, Renee Ballard, who we met in 'The Late Show' novel last year. Bosch and Ballard make a good team and the ending of the novel leaves me fairly confident that they will cross paths again. In addition to telling a good story, I like the dynamic Connelly creates between Bosch and Ballard. They are both driven detectives with a strong sense of justice, but their experiences makes them wildly different people. It's in those difference where the two really come together and make a great team.

Dark Sacred Night is another great entry into the series and I look forward to see what happens next. 4 STARS.

HOLLIS P.I. NABS A NEW 4 STAR AMAZON READER REVIEW!

A Big Thank You to 'Kindle Customer" for the new 4 STAR Amazon Reader Review of Gary Phillips' Hollis P.I. from Pro Se Productions. It was quite the honor to write Gary's characters.

"Overall, I thought this was a good collection of short stories. The first story was entirely forgettable for me. The rest were good to very good. Of course, the story by Derrick Ferguson was very good. I'm a big fan of his. Seemed more gritty and hardboiled than the others. A little Dillon in Nate? Didn't think he was hardboiled enough throughout the book. Maybe the authors were a little timid writing about a badass black private investigator? Derrick pulled it off the best with his customary action and humor."

Read the full reviews at www.amazon.com/product-reviews/B00Q80PLYG and pick up a copy of Hollis P.I. today!

My story in this collection is called"Naomi." Hollis has been hired by the parents of a missing young woman who came to Hollywood to become an actress, Hollis finds her, but it's too late. The hard life she fell into chewed her up and spit her out onto the hard, cracked asphalt streets of Angeltown. He might not be able to save her, but there is one thing Hollis can do, he can find Naomi's killers and make them pay for the life they took.

Thanks again for the 4 STAR review.

DEADLY GAMES! GETS NEW 4 STAR REVIEW ON GOODREADS!

A super huge thank you to author Adam Mitchell for his kind 4 STAR Goodreads review of my novel, DEADLY GAMES! I'm honored by the comparison to Lawrence Block. Glad you enjoyed the book. You can read Adam's full review HERE and below.

THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN NO SPOILERS SORRY!
Well what can I say about this book, there's twists galore in this read, i managed to knock it during a train journey and well it kept me going through the madness of platform changes, and worse...other passengers! What stuck me most was the writing style maybe its just me but Nash has a very 'Lawrence Block' vibe to his writing, which is nice to see now Crime and Thriller fiction in my eyes is becoming very linear and placid at times. In fact at times if i didn't know this was a Bobby Nash book i could have swore the characters stepped out of a Block book and into the pages of Nash's fictional world. So yes the characters were stars of the book, but it was the pace and edge to the writing that sold it for me.

Get this copy now i will say for my taste it's a tad pricey but then again, it's worth every penny be it a kindle copy or extra special paperback. So on the whole WELL DONE!

Deadly Games! is available in paperback and on your Kindle at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other on-line retailers. You can read Deadly Games! for FREE with your Kindle Unlimited subscription.

THE WRAITH RATES 4 STARS IN NEW AMAZON UK READER REVIEW!

A Big Metro-sized THANK YOU to reader Imallett for leaving a 4 STAR Amazon review of the Sanderson of Metro novel by Frank Dirscherl and Bobby Nash at Amazon UK. You can check out the full review HERE!

"Recommended for Wraith and pulp hero fans! For fans of classic pulp masked avenger characters like the Shadow, Black Bat and the Spider, as well as others such as Doc Savage, and comic characters like the Batman, or those who are already fans of The Wraith, Sanderson of Metro finally delivers the origin of the original Wraith as well as his supernatural power which is unleashed as the Eyes of Judgement.

The title shouldn't be taken too literally, as most of the action is set on a continent away from fictional Metro City. Readers are guided along Paul Sanderson's journey from something of a lost soul to the hero he would one day become. I would have welcomed a longer portion of the novel depicting the Sanderson-Wraith operating in Metro, but there is plenty of time to (re)visit those untold tales."

Thanks again, Imallett!

A NEW AMAZON READER REVIEW FOR THE SPIDER: EXTREME PREJUDICE!

A Big Thank You to "Amazon Customer" for leaving a short, but sweet 3 star review of The Spider: Extreme Prejudice on Amazon. Much appreciated. You can read the full review here.

Reviews are like gold to authors. They help our books rise up the rankings so more eyes see them and hopefully, more readers who might want to buy a copy. Thanks again for taking the time to post your thoughts, Amazon Customer. It is appreciated.

My story in this volume is called “Fear The Dark.”
Marianne Nelson is afraid of the dark. Every time she closes her eyes she sees monstrous visions of herself and a strange woman being chased by a menacing creature with disturbing features and fangs. She chalks it all up to bad dreams until she meets the woman from her vision, Nita Van Sloan, and her friend, Richard Wentworth. How does The Spider figure in to her visions? Is Marianne right to Fear The Dark?

I hope you'll check it out.
