Looks like I've been promoted to Captain. :)
I knew when I posted the "Plotty Pants" story on author Y.I. Washington's blog yesterday that something like this would happen. Thanks to author Lisa Matthews Collins for this one, which she shared with me on Facebook today. It made me laugh.
That's Phantom Troublemaker and Judy Faber in the photo with me.
Photo courtesy of Geek Behind The Lens Photography's Nikki Rau-Baker. She's a whiz with catching me laughing.

The ESO crew steps back inside the ol’ square circle for another run at the championship belt. That’s right, ESO demands a rematch as they dive back into the wonderful world of wrestling circa 1992 - 1999. Also on the card for this episode are Rants and Raves, The Khan Reports, Shout Outs, and ESO straps Harry Strange’s Tony Sarrecchia into The Geek Seat. You get all this and more on the next exciting episode of the Earth Station One podcast.

| Yes. It was THAT funny. I think. |

AND SO IT ENDS… OR BEGINS… OR SOMETHING…
This weekend has been a blur of excitement.
We recorded our 200th episode of the Earth Station one podcast on Saturday, live from Odin's Comics. The amazing Geek Behind The Lens, Nikki Rau-Baker took some really cool photos of The ESO Network's Earth Station One episode 200 podcast, as did a few others. Check out a few of them below. The rest can be found here. Thanks, Nikki and thanks to all who came out to join us.
While we were recording I found out that my story, “Fear The Dark” from Moonstone Books’ The Spider: Extreme Prejudice was nominated for a Pulp Factory Award, which is very cool indeed.
Today, I was a guest at the amazing Atlanta Comic Convention, which is always a fun time. Here are a few shots from the event. Look for more tomorrow once I clear the rest off the camera.
After the con, I recorded another fun interview over at The Book Cave podcast. Always a good time chatting with hosts Ric Croxton and Art Sippo.
And finally, Tommy Hancock posted a cover tease for an upcoming book release that features one of my stories. Gorgeous art by Mike Fyles on this one. Coming Very Soon from Pro Se Productions' Pulp Obscura Imprint... Stay tuned for more.
More to come.
Have a great week.
Bobby

ESO heads to Harlan County for a look at FX’s critically acclaimed series, Justified. The Earth Station One crew dives into the world of Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens in Justified, based on a story by noted author Elmore Leonard. We’ll find out what’s happened before and look at the new season airing now. On any other podcast, that would be enough for one episode. We’ve also stocked up on Rants and Raves, Khan Reports, Shout Outs, and ESO straps the team behind the Star Trek Animated comics into The Geek Seat. It’s another double-barreled episode of the Earth Station One podcast.
