A BIT TOO OLD FOR 2013?

Robert McIntyre shared some of his 2013 highlights over at the A Bit Too Old For Comics Blog. I am honored to have some of my work make his list of highlights for the year, which you can read here. Thanks for the kind words about Evil Ways, Deadly Games!, Domino Lady: Sex As A Weapon, and The Ruby Files, Robert. Much appreciated, sir.

EARTH STATION ONE EPISODE 196: 2013 IN THE GEEK SEAT

Forget all the “Best” and “Worst” year-end lists you’ve seen, the ESO crew gets the real skinny on 2013 by shackling it to The Geek Seat. Mike Faber, Mike Gordon, the award-winning author Bobby Nash, Jason and Rita De La Torre (from Transmissions from Atlantis), and good ol’ Joe Crowe (RevolutionSF) face the year that was and bring the highs and lows of 2013 to you! They also make sure the apocalypse stays cancelled and peek a glimpse into 2014. Plus, they find just enough room in The Geek Seat for the Lady Soliloque before she embarks on her new SciFi series, Enoch the Traveler!

Join us as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Dungeons and Dragons. You’d think that would be enough for one episode, but fear not, weary traveler, ESO also unleashes Rants and Raves, Khan Reports, Vito Delsante into The Geek Seat. Needless Things Podcast Episode 5: HeroesCon 2013

Bobby Nash, Phantom Troublemaker, and Mike Gordon at Heroes Con 2013
I attended Heroes Con a few weeks back and sat down with my Earth station One/Earth Station Who cohorts, Mike Gordon and The Phantom Troublemaker to record a segment about the con for Phantom’s Needless Things Podcast. You can listen to it here.

From The Phantom Troublemaker:
Hey Phantomaniacs!

Swing on over to NeedlessThingsSite.com and check out the newest episode of the Needless Things Podcast!

This time your ol’ pal Phantom Troublemaker is LIVE from HeroesCon 2013. I sat down for on-site interviews with Jennifer of Handmade Stuffs, Kyle Starks, Jamie Cosley, Hashim of Silver Panther Studios, and even ended up with a surprise interview with Jim Rugg.

After all of that I even sat down with ESO’s very own Award-Winning Bobby Nash and the King of Tiki himself, Mike Gordon for an overview of our time at the con.

KICKIN' OFF THE NEW YEAR IN STYLE!

We talked about these guys a lot on the Best of 2012 episode of ESO.

We put 2012 in The Geek Seat.
Okay, not really. Actually, I spent the day wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt, which is the official writer's uniform, I believe. :)

Tonight, I had a fun time recording this week’s Earth Station One podcast as we put the year 2012 in the Geek Seat and bid it a fond (and not so fond in some case) adieu. It's always cool to hang with the ESO crew.

I also added 1,000 words or so to the Evil Intent novel today, which gets that project back in motion after a short break to finish up some other deadlines. I was hoping to do more, but I threw my back out earlier today and that kind of derailed my plans for a bit. Hopefully, I can make up for lost time tomorrow and add a few more thousand words.
Evil's Coming. Don't look back.

Happy New Year.

Bobby
