Earth Station One Podcast Episode 308 – The Work of Carmine Infantino

I visited my pals on the station this week as we got together to talk about the career of comic legend, Carmine Infantino on episode 308 of the Earth Station One podcast. Give it a listen here.

The secret origin of the current success of DC’s TV properties is that they are all very much inspired by the Silver Age of comics and one of the most influential artists of that time is the great Carmine Infantino. Mike Faber, Mike Gordon, Kevin Eldridge, and award-winning author Bobby Nash showcase the highlights of his illustrious career. Also, the Geek Seat goes global and reaches Italian pulp and fantasy writer Davide Mana. Plus, Robert Young updates us on the upcoming SC Comicon in the Khan Report. All this, along with the usual Rants, Raves, Geek Girls
Take, and Shout Outs!

Walk down the right back alley in Old Town and you can find anything. Even the ESO crew. Sometimes that means podcasting. Sometimes it means killing a whole lot of people. EARTH STATION ONE EPISODE 227: ESO TAKES A QUANTUM LEAP

Theorizing that they can time travel within their own lifetime, the ESO crew steps into the Quantum Leap Accelerator and vanish. With “Howdy” Mike Gordon on special assignment at the Boston Comic Con, this week’s station crew: Mike Faber, the award-winning Bobby Nash, Dr. Scott Viguie, Dr. Q, John Strangeway, and Albie Burdge find themselves trapped in the past as they geek out about all things Quantum Leap. If that wasn’t enough, we strap Athena Voltaire’s Steve Bryant into the ultimate death trap– The Geek Seat! Then, author Gary Phillips stops by the station to tell us about his latest book, Astonishing Heroes “Shades of Justice” and the upcoming Hollis p.i.

Plus, ESO remembers Robin Williams.

And so, ESO keeps leaping from station to station, podcasting right what once was podcasted wrong, and hoping each time that the next leap will be the leap… home.
