WHO ARE THESE AVENGERS GUYS?

I had a great time visiting my buddies over at the Earth Station One podcast tonight. Mike Faber, Mike Gordon, Mark Holmes, and I had a fun conversation as we looked at the work and comic books of Roy Thomas. If you're an ESO patron, look for it on their Patreon page on Tuesday. The episode goes live to the general public on Thursday. I'll share the link as soon as I have it.

The attached image was my first Roy Thomas written comic book. I read it and was hooked. You can hear the full story behind me getting this comic on the podcast when it airs.

SNIKT! SNIKT!

Number 1 with a bullet (train).

Love this John Byrne art.
I caught a showing of The Wolverine today along with my ESO co-host, Howdy Mike Gordon and his girlfriend, Michelle. I absolutely loved the movie. It's a fun action flick. Once again, Hugh Jackman owns the role of Wolverine. Highly recommended.

We'll discuss the movie in-depth on this week's Earth Station One podcast.

See you there.

Bobby Wanted by Marvel?

Cover Art: Bryan Hitch
I wish. HA! HA! Marvel Comics has a new mini series coming called Avengers X-Sanction and they offered an incentive cover where folks could have their face on Cable's Wanted Poster. I just couldn't resist playing around and adding my image. Fun stuff. Thanks, Marvel.
