I probably don't say this enough, but I love being a writer. I love telling stories. I love building worlds and getting to know characters and then putting them through hell. I love it when someone tells me they've read something of mine. I love it even more when they say they enjoyed what they read. I feel very fortunate to be able to do what I do. Do I wish I was making a living as a writer? You bet. That's definitely one of the goals I'm working toward. There's a lot of hard work ahead so I better get to it.
Apologies for the sappy post. I'm feeling unusually reflective today.
