A DAY IN THE LIFE. OR-- WHAT I’M DOING WHEN YOU SHOULD BE WRITING!

I’ve been doing some non-writing, yet writing related work today. Might be time to switch over and write some fiction though. Plus, we record this week's Earth Station One podcast tonight. We're talking Babylon 5, which is one of my favorites. You’ll be able to hear that later this week.

As I did with Deadly Games! last week, I created some pre-promotion banner ads for the upcoming re-release of my first published novel, Evil Ways. Click for a larger view.

What do you think? Which ones work best for you?

Original Cover
Evil Ways is currently out of print, but there may be some copies of the original print run floating around out there somewhere. While we await the new version, here’s a little about Evil Ways:

Proposed re-release cover
A string of brutal murders.

A small-town sheriff in way over his head.

An FBI agent on the mend, seeking nothing more than to reconnect with his brother.

A reporter on the trail of a killer, something he thought he’d left behind when he left
Atlanta, Georgia for the small town of Sommersville, Georgia.

A town preparing for an annual celebration.

Old friends coming together to celebrate their high school reunion.

FBI Agent Harold Palmer needed a relaxing vacation. All he wanted was to travel to Sommersville, Georgia to visit his brother, newspaper publisher and reporter, Franklin Palmer. He should have known better.

The discovery of a brutally murdered young lady with a connection to the local police, coupled with a rowdy high school reunion and the annual Autumn Festival has Sommersville Sheriff Tom Myers and his deputies overwhelmed.

FBI Agent Harold Palmer, in town on a family matter, finds himself on the trail of a killer who preys on the fears of his victims. His next targets are the unsuspecting members of the reunited class of ’95.

They should fear his EVIL WAYS.

I like the sound of this.
Oh, yeah, I’m also proud to announce that after the re-release of Evil Ways, FBI Agent Harold Palmer will return in 2013 in Evil Intent. Oh yeah. At long last, book two is moving forward. Afterward, I'm already cultivating some ideas for book three.

While you’re out surfing the ‘net, I posted several items over the past weeks at www.esopodcast.com and http://allpulp.blogspot.com. You should swing by and take a peek. There’s been some cool news posted recently.

Well, I’d best get back to work.

We’ll talk later.

Bobby
