TODAY'S OFFICE...

Today's office. I'm back outside for another day in the fresh, allergen-filled air. It's a little humid outside and I'm a bit sweaty, but going to work out here with the laptop as long as I can stand it. I started a new medication from my Doctor and it has given me a headache, but I'm suffering through it to get some writing done.

Here are few fun posts I shared to social media this morning about writing--

Writing can be emotionally and physically draining at times, but I can't imagine doing anything else.
And always remember... The first rule of Write Club is... Don't talk. Write.

I love looking through social media and seeing all of the amazing things my creative friends are doing. I am blessed to have such outstanding talent all around me. You all rock and I don't tell you often enough how much you all inspire me. Keep up the good work.

Always remember that tomorrow is another day. Who knows what cool adventure waits for us there?

Happy Sunday.

TODAY'S OFFICE...

My office today.
It's not very sunny out on this October Saturday in Georgia and there's a hint of rain in the air, but the temperature is just right so my trusty laptop and I are once again outside for some hopefully productive writing time.

I love writing outside. Not only is it a nice change of scenery, but it never hurts to get some fresh air. Plus, I seem to get interrupted less when I go outside to write. That's always a nice bonus.

I hope you're having a great weekend.

OH, THOSE PESKY WRITER "PROBLEMS."

Motivation courtesy of my friend, Francesco Francavilla.

So true.
I didn't feel like working on the project currently on the boards tonight so I jumped ahead to the next one on the list. Sometimes you just need to take a night off from one story. Thankfully, I'm still in good shape on the deadline so I could do that. I'll get back to it tomorrow. Plus, I'm a little bit ahead on the next deadline, which is always nice.

Sadly, both projects are still unannounced so I can't tell you what they are. One of a comic book script and the other a prose novella.
