A NEW PROJECT BEGINS...

Ste One: plot/character notes.

My friend Bernadette Johnson (Lance Star: Sky Ranger, Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective, How Stuff works) and I are writing a book together and we had our first plot/character discussion yesterday. Made some good progress and I'm looking forward to working with her to bring this project to life. It'll be fun. Sorry for the pixelated, blurry photo, but we aren't ready to share details just yet.

This one probably won't see daylight until late 2018 or, if our original plan works the way we hope, probably 2019.

Airship 27 has announced that Shannon Hall will be the artist for volume 3 of the Lance Star: Sky Ranger pulp anthology series scheduled to premiere in 2011.

The artwork to the left (click image for larger view) by Shannon Hall comes from Bobby Nash's story, "Open Range."
