2016 PULP FACTORY AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED!


Congratulations to the winners of the 2016 Pulp Factory Awards, which were announced Friday night, April 22nd at the Windy City Pulp Con in Chicago. And the winners are--

Best Novel:
Lie Catchers (Paul Bishop; Pro Se Productions)

Best Short Story:
"Voodah of Thunder Mountain" (Derrick Ferguson, LEGENDS OF NEW PULP FICTION; Airship 27)

Best Anthology:
LEGENDS OF NEW PULP FICTION (Ron Fortier, Ed; Airship 27)

Best Cover Art:
BASS REEVES, FRONTIER MARSHAL, VOL 1 (Marco Turini; Airship 27)

Best Interior Illustrations:
SHERLOCK HOLMES, CONSULTING DETECTIVE VOL 7 (Rob Davis; Airship 27)

Wow quite a coincidence that Airship 27 wins the vast majority of these awards.

Almost as if the guy running it owned Airship or something.

Not really. Van and Gordon run it the past several years. Neither is an owner of Airship 27. What happens is, A27 has more people on their books in The Pulp Factory group and it's members of that group who nominate the books. The voting is then open to the public.
