R.I.P. STAN LEE!

I am saddened to hear the news that Stan Lee has died. I did not know Mr. Lee personally, although I did meet him briefly a couple of times at conventions. My memory of those encounters was of a man of boundless energy and a love for comic books that was infectious. Of course, growing up as a comic book fan, I knew Stan's name. As a Spider-man fan, I remember seeing and hearing his opening narration for several animated shows. Stan's legacy endures and the characters he helped create will keep his memory alive. Rest in Peace, Stan. Excelsior!

R.I.P. THOM TRAINOR

I am sad to hear of the passing of Thom Trainor. Thom was a friend and a friend to comic creators everywhere. He was a familiar face at DragonCon, leading the Comic and Pop Art Track to amazing heights. I will miss his daily posts and DC simply won't be the same without him. I'm honored to have known him and call him my friend. Rest well, pal. See you on the other side.

R.I.P. BOB BOWER

Bob Bower as Erik "Two Ton" Rockefeller in Fat Chance.
Sad to hear of the passing of Bob Bower, whom I had the please to meet and get to know while working on the movie, Fat Chance. Bob was a helluva nice guy and funny. He kept us laughing. Here's a screen grab of Bob and I from the movie.

Rest In Peace, Two-Ton!
