BOOKS, BEER, AND BOBBY! OH MY!

Join the celebration tomorrow evening at Jackalope Jack's in Charlotte, NC as Books and Beer returns! Join authors Misty Massey, Patrick Dugan, and Bobby Nash as they read from their books while you sit back, listen, and sip your ice-cold beer. Doesn't that sound like a perfectly delightful evening? Of course it does. We hope to see you there.

ESO's Bobby, Phantom Troublemaker,
and Mike Gordon

I got back home from Heroes Con this morning. I was only able to attend on Saturday, but it was a long, but fun-filled day. I spent most of the day catching up with friends (way too many to mention everyone here, but it was great talking with everyone), but I also managed to meet several new people as well, which is always nice. There’s a whole lot of talent in Charlotte this weekend. Of course, I was so busy talking I didn't take a lot of photos, but there are a few posted here.

I would also like to send a special get well soon to Yaya Han who had to miss part of the con. Get well soon.

Thanks also to Mike Gordon for carpooling to the con with me.

Heroes swag

Good conversation makes the many miles pass by faster.

And for those who came out for the premiere of The Big Bad: An Anthology of Evil at the con, thank you and I hope you enjoy the book.

Heroes Con is an incredibly fun convention for fans of comic books. A family-friendly atmosphere, there were a lot of kids in attendance and also a lot of fine folks in costume, which is always fun to see. I took a few photos. Click on the images for a larger view.

Thanks to Shelton Drum and his team for another fun show.

See you next year.

Book statue. Too cool.

Heroes has doubled its floor space. Massive.

Too cute. The Doctor and a Dalek.

Always great catching up with talented writer and pal, Vito Delsante.

Too cute, but wouldn't stand still long enough to get a clean photo.

Superman did not like Captain America touching him.

When Bobby, Phantom Troublemaker, and Mike Gordon get together, hilarity ensues..
