How Do You Find The Time To Write?

A question I've been getting a lot lately is "How do you find time to write?" The truth is, you don't. You have to make time to write. If you wait for free time, you'll never find it. Trust me on this.

This answer is usually followed by, "But I have a job or I have a family." I wrote most of my first novel in a little less than 30 minutes a day on my lunch break at my day job. I sat in my car with a bag lunch and wrote. First, in notebooks. Then, when I got a laptop, I used that. later, a tablet turned out to be perfect for writing on my lunch break. It's doable.

Some writers I know wake up an hour earlier than normal to write for an hour before leaving for work or turn off the TV early and write before bed. You make the most out of time. Writing for 30 minutes a day took time, but I eventually got there.

Good luck.
