WE LOVE READER REVIEWS! IN THE WIND GETS A NEW REVIEW!

WE LOVE READER REVIEWS! A huge Thank You to my friend, Sandra Gentry for her kind words and review of my latest release, IN THE WIND - A Sheriff Tom Myers Mystery on my website at www.bobbynash.com under the Tom Myers tab. Sandra and I were in a writing class together back when I was writing EVIL WAYS, the novel that introduced Tom Myers.

"IN THE WIND by Bobby Nash is a “must read.” This mystery thriller is set in the small town of Sommersville, Georgia, and it reminds me of Mayberry, North Carolina. The main character, Sheriff Tom Myers, is as likable as Andy Griffith. Bobby is a talented writer who who tells a great story. He mixes excitement, mystery, suspense, wisdom, and humor together, and the result is a winner! I highly recommend IN THE WIND. -SG"

You can learn more about IN THE WIND here.
Available in paperback and ebook. Read it FREE with Kindle Unlimited. Audio book coming soon.

Tom Myers also appears in Evil Ways and Deadly Games!

THE PULP SUPER-FAN HEADS TO ISLAND X!

The Pulp Super-Fan had some nice words to say about Pulp Adventures #32 and my Lance Star: Sky Ranger story, The Mystery of Island X. Published by Bold Venture Press. You can read the full review HERE.

Here's a snippet about my Lance Star: Sky Ranger story:
"Lance Starr is a New Pulp air adventures in the style of Bill Barnes and others. There have been four collections from Airship 27, and Bobby Nash gives us another short story: “The Mystery of Island X!” Here Starr and his crew check out a strange volcanic island and work out its mysteries. This is my first time reading this character, and found it pretty good."

You can read the full review HERE.

Thanks again, Pulp Super-Fan!

HAPPY SPIDER-MAN DAY TO THE CHARACTER WHO GOT ME HOOKED ON COMICS!

I hear today is #SpiderManDay so to celebrate, here's how I met the wallcrawling superhero.

My first introduction to Spider-man was reruns of the '66 cartoon that I watched after school. Fun stuff. I still hear Paul Soles' voice whenever I read a Spider-man comic. Of note and completely off topic, but I love that Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Hermey from Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer are voiced by the same guy. I was today years old when I learned that fun little fact.

After loving the series, I ran across Spider-man comics int he checkout of Zayre (a supermarket chain no longer with us) in the 70's and they had a 3-pack with 2 Spider-man comics (you couldn't see the third one, though we tried) and after much begging and pleading, convinced my mother to buy them.

Inside were Amazing Spider-Man issues 192, 193, and 194. I still have these issues today. From there, my love of the character grew and I continued reading Spidey's adventures until around 2008 when I stepped away from the title. I count myself fortunate to have met Marv Wolfman, the writer of these three issues, and Jim Mooney, the inker and tell them how much their work on these issues meant to me. They made me a comic book fan. Sadly, I have never had the opportunity to meet Keith Pollard, the penciller. Maybe one of these days.

Happy #SpiderManDay Spidey, old pal!
