Sigh...

I got accused of this so I want to state, for the record, that I do not pay for book reviews. Never have. Never will. I also do not pay for interviews or podcast appearances. I like reviews as much as the next writer, but I'm not going to pay for them. How can I trust a paid review?

Sorry for the mini-rant. Now back to your regularly scheduled social media, already in progress.

"AN EXCITING SERIES!" TOM MYERS' 'IN THE WIND' NABS A NEW 5 STAR READER REVIEW!

We Love Reader Reviews! Big thanks to Josh Hitch for the kind words and 5 Star Amazon review for In The Wind - A Tom Myers Mystery. You can read it HERE or below.

"An Exciting Adventure. Really enjoyed this novella length novel starring small town Sheriff Tom Myers. A safe house is put into use in his county but the FBI and the Marshals failed to tell him. When everything goes wring and the witness that was being guarded is in the wind along with several bad guys looking for him is when Myers finds out about it. He sets up his department to try and find the witness but that is easier said than done in such a large rural area. Plus there is a time limit since the bad guys want to shut up the witness permanently. Highly recommended, well written and fast paced. The characters are well done and Myers is an interesting mix of capable and I'm getting to old for this. Will definitely read what is next for Myers and crew."

Thanks again, Josh.

BURIED TREASURE...

I've been slowing going through my storage and getting rid of stuff cluttering up the garage. Today, I found a nice bit of lost treasure. Some of my college art projects, a button from the Harriette Austin Writers Conference (I really miss her), & copies of Evil Ways (7 paperback, 3 HC) from the original, less than great publisher 20 years ago. Does this make them collectors items? If anyone wants one, let me know. If not, back into storage they go. :)

It's amazing the stuff you find tucked away, huh?

I joined host Percival Constantine on a new episode of Superhero Bibliophiles. Last time, we discussed the Disney+ Hawkeye series on Superhero Cinephiles. Today, we look at Hawkeye's comic book history and the Matt Fraction/David Aja comic book run that inspired the show.

Grab yourself a slice of pizza (don't forget to share with Lucky) and a big pot of coffee and give it a listen right HERE.
