A comedy/horror film

Ten overweight men appear on a weight loss reality show that threatens to push them to the edge. As contestants start to disappear in the night, it is up to the survivors to figure out what is going on. Are they sneaking away while everyone else sleeps? Has one of the contestants snapped? The Fat Chance movie gets a name change and becomes Camp Massacre before mass distribution in 2015. The Horror Society has all the info on the name change and potential release date on DVD and Blu-Ray. You can read it here.

There will be a special screening of Fat Chance on Friday, May 30th in Birmingham, Alabama, at Alabama Phoenix Festival! I'll be there along with Daniel Emery Taylor, Jim O'Rear, and Ami Stewart Taylor. It'll be a fun time.

I will also be set up at the convention with my books as well, plus you can buy copies of the Fat Chance convention special also.

UPDATE!!!

Join us at the Alabama Phoenix Festival for the Fat Chance Concert & Alabama Film Premiere with Radio Cult!! Friday, May 30, at 9PM!! Deviant Pictures will host the festivities as Radio Cult tears through a rocking set before we bring FAT CHANCE back to the state we filmed in. We will be joined by Special Guests (and FAT CHANCE talent) Bobby Nash and Ami Taylor! Rumor has it that other FAT CHANCE stars may be in attendance, too ... so you can't miss this!

I received my comp copy of Fat Chance today. I had so much fun working on this movie. We laughed a lot. Fat Chance will be widely distributed soon. I don’t know those details as yet, but I'll post those details here when I have them.

Not spoilerish, but the screen shot below might just be my new favorite. Looks like something bad is about to go down with Clark Wagner, doesn't it?

The international premiere of Fat Chance made the news in the German horror magazine called "Virus."

Fat Chance director Jim O'Rear premiered the Fat Chance movie at Movie Days / The Dark Zone film festival event in Dortmund, Germany. Virus gave the premiere a shout out in their latest issue.

FAT CHANCE A BIG HIT IN GERMANY! WINS AWARD!

Fat Chance director Jim O'Rear premiered the Fat Chance movie at Movie Days/The Dark Zone film festival event in Dortmund, Germany. At the event, Fat Chance was awarded “Best Horror Comedy” which is pretty darn cool.

Sooooo.... This happened today in Germany... the international premiere of FAT CHANCE. And..... Yes... Winner for "Best Horror Comedy." Thanks to all who attended the screening. We appreciate you being there. The film was well received and our silly American humor translated well to the German audience. There was much laughter throughout the screening. The crowd loved everyone, but seemed especially entertained by Bob Bower and Ru Benjamin Revolver, who received laughs every time they were on screen. The reveal of the killer received a collective GASP from the audience and there was even a loud "shit" spoken... so, they obviously didn't guess who the killer was in advance. Awesome job, cast and crew, you blew the German audience away!

I received an update on the release of Fat Chance from co-directors Jim O’Rear and Daniel Emery Taylor.

It's official. Deviant Pictures has signed a worldwide distribution deal for the comedy/horror film, Fat Chance! I play Clark Wagner in the film. Look for an announcement soon regarding a release date later this year.

More details when I have them.

Check out the awesome new poster for Fat Chance, created by the very talented Billy Tackett! Sadly, I didn't make the poster, but I am in this incredibly funny horror/comedy movie by Daniel Emery Taylor and Jim O'Rear. Also, last week I got to see a sneak peek at the opening credits animated sequence for the movie under a theme song by Radio Cult, which is pretty cool. The first time I've been animated for film.
