CLEAN UP ON AISLE THREE...

In my effort to keep #Focus, I started streamlining some things, including social media sites I don't get much traction from. Today, I started by shutting down my Mewe page. That place was a dry wasteland where I received zero interaction so it's gone. I'll start going through FB Groups soon to see which I need to clear out. I want to put my promotion time and effort where it will do some good.

"Throwback comics goodness in book form. A wonderful oldschool read that feels like the novelized version of something you'd have read in the Golden Age of Comics or maybe something a bit later. It has that flavor to it, though with the difference that the lead is a female and it's set in modern times, with mentions of Spring Break and Daytona Beach so that brings it wayyyy more into the 80's. So think of that balance. As I read I was struck by how MUCH it read like a comic book and was pleased to find it was indeed a comic book from the 90's based on a character from the Golden Age era... if this sounds cyclical, it's in part because of the storyline, where we double back on alternate realities, timelines, and characters...so pay attention, or you'll get lost in the names (but I won't tell you why).

This was a fun read for me. Light, easy to read, though a couple of typos throughout that I hope get nicked in future pressings, because the story is a lot of fun and I think it's a wonderful bridge from comics to books to get kids to read more."

I am a huge outer space nut, both the real thing and the fictionalized version I like to write from time to time. As a kid, I devoured any and every book about space and the traveling to space I could get my hands on. I was obsessed with what's out there. Somewhere along the way, as I got older and perhaps a bit jaded, I stopped looking to the stars as often as I once did. This news today, Perseverance landing safely on Mars, reminds me of those early days when the world and the future were a mystery yet to be unraveled. I miss that feeling. Perhaps, it's time I started looking toward the stars again. Who knows what we might find.

THE RETURN OF ENVELOPE ART!

 

I love to draw so I occasionally do sketches at conventions and events or if someone asks. Assembled here are some of the art I've done. I will be adding more to the entire list as I dig through my art files on the computer. I hope you enjoy.

In 2018, I have opened up space for commissions. Commissions are $20 + $4 shipping and handling. Commissions will be much like the ones pasted below. They are drawn on a thick 6 3/4" x 10 1/2" board and shipped flat. I've since added $50 (+$8 s&h) 11" x 17" commissions as well. He visits his grandfather, who just happens to run a security consulting firm. While there he gets involved with the pursuit of an assassin. Dialogue sophomoric. And then there's the ending, leading into the next volume of this. I'll pass."

Editorial note: for those reading the review above, the main story does have an ending. There is an epilogue after the story ends that sets up the next book.
