BLAST FROM THE PAST!

My characters weren't speaking to me today so I stepped away from the desk to do some work around the house I'd been putting off. What a nice surprise to run across these blasts from the past. A Life In The Faster Lane book featuring my one panel comic strips. I really need to get that back in print one day. The awesome Trooper Clerks postcards are by Jeff Allen & Todd Coss. The bridge postcards I did in high school (1988) to raise money to restore the bridge. Fun fact: the postcard art is housed in the Barrow County museum and have appeared in books, newspapers, & on maps. I should dig out the original and donate it to them. Hmm...

ART THERAPY!

With the success of the bookmarks, I'm adding larger pieces of original art to my tables at cons. Up next is Monsterama, which inspired last night's pieces. Frankenstein's Monster & A Nightmare on Looney Avenue's Yosemite Kreuger (a fun mash up). I'll definitely do more of these. I also did a Charlie Brown/Wrath of Khan bookmark mashup that was fun.

This was a dream gig for me. I love this character.

Remo Williams: The Adventures Continue
A pulpy Action/Adventure Anthology

2025 SCRIBE AWARD NOMINEE - BEST SHORT STORY
O' Deadly Deathtrap by Bobby Nash

Remo Williams: The Adventures Continue is now available now from Bold Venture Press. When Democracy came under attack, CURE unleashes The Destroyer to battle all manner of evil. I have a story in this one called "O' Deadly Deathtrap!"

Remo’s back, unarmed and dangerous ...with Harold W. Smith, grey-hearted director of CURE, and the inscrutable Chiun, Reigning Master of Sinanju, in twelve stories by the original authors and several newcomers!

A “dead” cop awoke to find himself recruited into a clandestine agency; enlisted as a government assassin; trained to the absolute peak of human perfection in Sinanju, the sun-source of all martial arts. Remo Williams became Sinanju — and then he became The Destroyer, America’s best last hope to uphold the Constitution — by circumventing its laws.

With Democracy under attack, CURE unleashes The Destroyer to battle all manner of evil, including Fidel Castro’s “Broadcast War”; a K-Pop band on a tour of ill-will; a weapons manufacturer with a thrifty method of maximizing profit and death; a street gang staking out Central Park; a rival house of assassins with a centuries-long grudge; and an unpopular candidate’s election team decides assassination is the best route to the White House — until they meet the best assassin of all.

TAKE BOBBY NASH TO THE BEACH THIS SUMMER!

When making your summer reading plans, consider a pit stop in Sommersville.

Sommersville, Georgia. It's a sleepy little hamlet. Relaxing farmland, scenic country roads, a world-class state park, and... oh, yeah, murder and mayhem.

We first visit Sommersville in the novel, EVIL WAYS, and then return in the novels DEADLY GAMES! and EVIL INTENT. The SNOW series and TOM MYERS mystery series also call Sommersville home. More stories to come.

THE WRAP UP-- HOOVER LIBRARY'S SCIFI/FANTASY FEST!

I was a guest at the Hoover Public Library's 2025 SciFi/Fantasy PLUS on Saturday, July 19th in Hoover, AL. You can learn more about the library and event HERE!

This is always a highlight trip for me. The Hoover Library has always been supportive of me and my work. I was one of the guests at their first event and have only missed one since then. A fun time. This year, my buddy, Mike rode with me. The three hour commute each way goes so much quicker with someone to talk to while driving. I caught up with some friends and a few folk I hadn't seen in a while, which was nice. A great crowd.

I did one panel called "Writing is for Nerds" with Jared Millet, Joe Whitt, and VE Duncan. We talked about our writing journeys, creative processes, and what inspires us to craft the worlds and characters. A fun chat.

The bookmarks were the big sellers of the weekend. Definitely moved more of them than books.

A fun day out. A long day. I was gone 17 hours and was exhausted when I got home, but so worth it.

Enjoy some photos from the event. There is also a video posted by the library HERE

Hoover has a great library. If you're ever int he area, you should drop by for a visit.

LIBRARIANS VS. VAMPIRS!

I joined the Talented Universe crew last night for The Librarians: The Next Chapter Review show 1.9. We had a fun chat about the episode, vampirs, a detour on our favorite childhood detectives, and I may have pitched a tie-in novel idea, for anyone that can help make that happen. :) #TheLibrarians
