Snow gets caught up in their latest case as another enemy searches for him. Might there be sharks involved? Maybe.

I've often said that Snow is my love letter to old p.i./detective shows of the 70's and 80's. Snow island gives us a two-fer. First, a trip to Hawaii, a staple of 70's and 80's fare. Also, this one could conceivably be considered a backdoor pilot. If the Brooks Brothers are well received, who knows, perhaps they'll get their own book. Not unusual for Bobby Nash and BEN Books. I'm working on rebuilding the files to get the Deadly Games! hardcover ready for print. Man, I've learned a lot since this originally released. I think, since I've done all this work, I'll update the paperback and ebook as well & re-release when the HC goes live. I fixed some typos, production errors, and the like. The ones out there now will be collector's items, I guess :)

Barring problems, the plan is to release Deadly Games! & Deadly Deals! in hardcover, paperback, and ebook on August 1st!

ON THE ROAD AGAIN! THE LET ME TELL YOU A STORY TOUR WEEKEND WRAP UP!

 

Hey there.

I had a full weekend, on the road for two events.

First, big thanks to 2nd & Charles for hosting a great Independent Author Book Fair Saturday in Kennesaw, GA. A good time was had. 31 authors in attendance. A fairly steady crowd. Sold a few books and art pieces. I met some new writers and readers, plus saw some friends I hadn't seen in awhile. I also met the writer I'm mentoring as part of a new mentoring program for the Atlanta writers Club and his father. I'm excited to see where this young man's story goes. A good day.

Second, big thanks to the Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts for hosting me on Sunday and for naming me June's Spotlight Author. Flew solo for this one. I had a great time. There was a small, but nice turnout. Books and art were sold. A great way to end a busy week.

Also, for those who interested in a recently announce upcoming books, there might be a cover spoiler in the photos from Sunday. Of course, as Patrons, you've seen the Deadly Deals! cover. I'll make an official cover reveal to the public soon.

Next weekend, 2 more events.

A PERK OF WRITING COMIC BOOKS!

There's nothing quite as exciting as getting comic art in your inbox. I saw several pages of pencil work for an upcoming comic I wrote today and they look good. Sadly, I can't share any of it yet, but I'm excited. Details when I can share them. This is one of the great perks of writing comics. I love it.

HORSE SHOW!

I had a great time MC'ing the Gypsy Hollow Horse show today. The kids were great and a fun time was had by all as we braved the heat together. It was fun. I haven't MC'd an event in quite a while. Nice to know I still got it in me. Nice to be back in the writing office enjoying the A/C though.
