TODAY'S OFFICE...

Not my usual view.

Our hero!

Today's office. Sitting at my dad's kitchen table, trying to get some writing done while he watches the race. Have to get him up once an hour to walk. He's making good progress recovering from his knee replacement surgery.

Writing is odd. I already wrote the last line of the chapter. Now, I'm writing to reach that point. It's funny how that happens. I was feeling stuck during this fight scene and wasn't sure how to end it. Then, it came to me so I wrote the last line and now I'm filling int he blanks from where I was to that ending.

I'm also having fun peppering this bar filled with magic users with characters from comics, books, and movies. Subtly, of course.

LATE NIGHT WRITING TEASE...

I had a pretty good writing day today. I wrote a short comic script where I revisited old friends I've not written in years (more on that when I get the go ahead to announce it). I also added a pretty nice chunk of words to The Wraith: Sanderson of Metro novel, which is quickly heading into the final act. All in all, not a bad day. 

Time to call it a night and get some shut eye. Back to the writing table tomorrow.

SNEAK PEEK! DOING SOME LATE NIGHT WRITING...

I added quite a few words on the novel tonight. Was planning to pull an all nighter, but for some reason, I just can't keep my eyes ope so, sleep wins. At least until I lay down. Then I'll be wide awake. Will get back to work tomorrow. Lots of writing to accomplish this weekend. Sorry for the weird angle on the pic. Not sure how much the publisher wants me to share.
