WE LOVE READER REVIEWS! 4 STARS FOR BECKY BOOKS' KNOCKS AND HOWLS!

We Love Reader Reviews! Big thanks to Grey for the 4 star Amazon Review of Knocks and Howls: A Bigfoot Fiction Anthology. He liked some stories, some not so much, but I appreciate him taking the time to write a review. My story classified as "A little weird but hey, that's what we're here for, right?" which I absolutely take pride in. Published by Becky Books. Read the full review and grab your own copy today HERE.

Decent little anthology for cryptid lovers (just skip story 10)

Overall: 3.5/5*

1) Regions of Fancy by Josh Reynolds - 5/5 - Pretty good. Solid Start. Spooky. Enjoy the use of historical fiction.

2) An Unseen World by Matthew Kresal - 4/5 - A little hokey and definitely unbelievable but fun.

3) Legacy by Christopher Ryan - 1/5 - Dumb AF. If you enjoy reading about dumb stuff then this might be for you. I feel a little bad giving it a 1 but I can't give it a 2 because that would put it on par with story #9, which I at least read all of and still enjoyed despite also being very boring.

4) Leave No Trace by Forrest C. Helvie - 4/5 - Can't remember this one so probably mid

5) Cargo by George Ebey - 3/5 - Predictable and gives "Tom Cruise would star in the crappy movie" vibes but fun

6) Scars by Bobby Nash - 4/5 - A little weird but hey, that's what we're here for, right?

7) Like and Subscribe by Mary Fan - 3/5 - I like that they tried to use social media and young folks but the characters were cringey. I would have never liked OR subscribed to either channel.

8) Crystal Mayhem by John C. Bruening - 3.5/5 - A little more horror and violent than some of the rest of these. Decent enough.

9) The Storyteller's Final Lesson by John Allen Small - 2.5/5 - It was okay, just boring and written like someone in the 6th grade wrote it. Uses a lot of words to say nothing.

10) Suicide Squatch by Eric M. Esquivel - 0/5 - If I'm remembering correctly, this started out... okayish, but rapidly descended into misogynist sounding BS and pissed me off beyond belief. I can't, in good conscience, recommend anyone ever read this one.

11) Enkidu by Josh Pritchett - 5/5 - I loved it. Based on this story alone, I might look up other things they've written!

12) The Last Bigfoot Story by Jim Beard - 5/5 - Excellent storytelling. I was very intrigued. I was left with questions, which normally annoys me, but this was less annoying in its lack of answers.

(*Total ratings = 40/60 which is about 3.3333, but rounded up. If I ignore the story with 0 stars, then it's 40/55 at 3.6363, which would only put it at 3.5 or 3.75, so it doesn't massively change the overall rating. If you were wondering.)
