Monstrous Books' James Aquilone announced today that Simon Bestwick and James Chambers have been added to the Kolchak Eras anthology with brand new stories. Simon's "The Devil's Chapel" sees Carl visiting the U.K. in the 1990s and stumbling upon a sinister cult leader. James' "Summer in Rome" follows Carl during his stint in World War II and his investigation into a very lucky soldier from Brooklyn.
The Kolchak Eras anthology, available in paperback through the new Kickstarter campaign (bit.ly/KolchakComics), also has stories from Lisa Morton (L.A. Lizard), Bobby Nash (The Devil Level), David Avallone (On the Road With Carl), Will McDermott (The Black Volga), Owl Goingback (Blood Witch), Mark Rainey (Up From the Underground), and Lev Butts (Wolf’s Clothing).
I'm excited for this. Writing Kolchak was a dream gig. This is my story from the 50th Anniversary hardcover a couple years back. Sadly, it is sold out of stock. This is a great way for these wonderful prose stories to reach a wider audience. That makes me happy.
