Just out of curiosity, what makes you want to pick up a book or ebook, whether from an author whose work you are familiar with or someone you're not? Do random ads make you want to buy a book? Do posts on social media ever make you check out a book or author?

I'm looking to try new promotion avenues to increase book sales.
