SANDERSON OF METRO COVER REVEAL!

Some news on the upcoming Limited Edition Hardcover Edition of The Wraith: Sanderson of Metro novel. Here's the cover too.
----
Repost from Frank Dirscherl:

A few days ago I revealed a good look at the mass release paperback front cover for the upcoming Wraith novel SANDERSON OF METRO. Well, here's now a good look at the limited edition hardback front cover. Now, please note, this hardcover edition will ONLY be available to buy online from the Trinity Comics website (www.trinitycomics.com) when released, whereas the mass release paperback will be available to buy everywhere online and in bookstores.

Apart from both featuring the main novel, written by myself and Bobby Nash, the two editions will be a little different and not just in cover image. The hardcover will feature a foreword by Ron Fortier and the Wraith short story SWAMP WITCH OF SATAN'S FOREST PART 1, while the paperback will feature chapter 1 of the upcoming Wraith novel, VENDETTA. Buy either one, buy both. No matter what, you're going to get a fantastic novel and some special features included! :D

Cover by Jeff Welborn, Jeff Austin and Splash Colors.

Coming October 2017.

Bobby and Robert in Atlanta
Robert McIntyre said some really kind words about me and my work over at his A Bit Too Old For Comics? Blog as part of his Meet The Writer series. You should check it out HERE.

You can also catch up on Robert's other amazing posts as well, including from his trip to Rome. He also holds the record for farthest traveled books I've ever been asked to sign, having carried them from Yorkshire to Atlanta.

Thanks again, Robert. I am blown away by your kind words, my friend, and honored to be part of your blog. I look forward to seeing you and Helen on your next US visit.

TO KA-BOOM OR NOT TO KA-BOOM? IS THAT THE QUESTION?

Happy Batman Day, chums!
Oh, yeah. Wasn't the world supposed to end today or something like that? Of course, I never believed it. It's Batman Day. Batman will never let the Earth be destroyed on Batman Day. I mean, come on, people. Let's be reasonable here.

And yes, that is sarcasm, for those who will no doubt try to correct me.

Ah, well. Good thing the world didn't come to an end. I have too much work to do.

IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS...

I saw this posted on a writing thread I was part of today. An author had posted a touching scene about a guy kissing his wife's pregnant belly.

"Y'know if this were a Bobby Nash story you'd be fighting crime now."

Thanks, Don Smith. I needed that laugh today. So glad I wasn't drinking when I read it or I would have done a spit take on the laptop.

SOMETIMES I GET ASKED STUFF... #44!

And we're back for the 44th installment of Sometimes I Get Asked Stuff…

You can check out all of the past installments of Sometimes I Get Asked Stuff... here.

Q: What do you WANT from your writing career?

Why, fame and fortune, of course. Isn't that why we all do this? Okay, seriously, I want to make a decent living as a writer. I'm a long way from that being a reality, but it is a goal I strive toward. I also want my work to reach as wide an audience as possible. I am working on growing my audience daily. It's a process, but I am making it work. On the selfish side, I would like to be known as a New York Times Best Selling Author one day too. I think that would be great and it's one of the goals I aspire to achieve.

Q: CREATORS: inspire the next generation by telling them how you broke into the industry.

One Friday night, after a stressful week at the day job, I emailed every publisher with a website. I had done some stuff on my own and with locals, but I introduced myself to all publishers. I received one reply, which thanked me, but mentioned they were closing shop and wished me well. A year later, that same person was at another publisher and asked to see samples of my writing then asked me to do a try out issue. They liked what I did and I was on the book. When that project ended, I had to break in again and again. Eventually, I got more work. I keep looking for more writing work and sometimes that feels like breaking in again, even after all this time. Keeps me hopping.

EARTH STATION DCU CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES!

This week, I joined the Earth Station DCU crew of Drew Leiter, Cletus Jacobs, and ESO's Howdy Mike Gordon to discuss the 25th anniversary of one of my favorite TV series, Batman: The Animated Series. You won't want to miss this fun trip down memory lane, which is much safer than taking a trip down Gotham's Crime Alley, on the latest episode of Earth Station DCU. Give it a listen at the ESO
Broadcasting site, Libsyn, or iTunes.

About ESDCU episode 63: This Week on Earth Station DCU! Drew Leiter and Cletus Jacobs are joined by Mike Gordon and Bobby Nash to celebrate 25 years of Batman: The Animated Series! In Batman #30, The Dark Knight has finally picked a side! Has he picked the Joker or the Riddler? In Superman #30, It is Sinestro vs. Paralax! (Wait is this the right title?) All this plus, DC News, Cletus’s pick of the week, and much, much more!

R.I.P. MARGARET NASH

We laid my mother to rest today. It was a nice service and we were surrounded the past few days with family and friends. The deepest thanks from myself and my family to all those who reached out, shared condolences, called, visited, and offered prayers and well-wishes. I wish I could thank each and every one of you personally, one on one, but know that it was very much heard and appreciated. I often feel like I'm alone in the world sometimes. This past week has served to remind me that such is not the case. Your love and friendship means the world to me. Thank you.
