FYI-- For the next few weeks I'll be taking a step back from the weekly ESO podcast while I catch up on some deadlines. I'll still be on each episode handling the interviews.

All hail Caesar! Mike Faber, Mike Gordon, the award-winning author Bobby Nash, Ashley Bergner, and Alex Autrey find themselves in the not-too-distant future where “Ape Must Not Kill Ape,” but humans are fair game! We also use The Geek Seat to extract battle plans for the Exodus: Empires at War series from writer Doug Dandridge. Plus, the usual Rants, Raves, Khan Report, and Shout Outs!

Join us for yet another episode of The Earth Station One Podcast we like to call: Dawn of the Planet of the Apes at

Next on Earth Station One...

Next week, the ESO crew looks back at the Wild & Crazy Career of Steve Martin. From TV to movies to music, Earth Station One spotlights writer, actor, director, and musician, Steve Martin. Who knows, maybe they’ll even do a version of King Tut for your listening pleasure. If that wasn’t wild and crazy enough for you, you’ll also get the usual assortment of Rants and Raves, Doctor Geek’s Moment of Science, shout outs, The Khan Report, and we’ll strap another unsuspecting victim into The Geek Seat. Join us for an all new episode of the Earth Station One podcast.

ESO would love to hear from you. What’s your favorite Steve Martin role? Share your thoughts at, 404-963-9057,, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or Pinterest. Who knows, we might just share yours on the show.
