About Deadly Games!:
They played the most dangerous game of all and death was only the beginning...

Six years ago, Police Detective John Bartlett and journalist Benjamin West were instrumental in the capture of notorious master criminal Darrin Morehouse. Their story played out in the media, rocketing both Bartlett and West into local celebrity status.

Today, Morehouse, still a master game player and manipulator, commits suicide while in prison. His death initiates one final game of survival for the people Morehouse felt wronged him the most. At that top of the list are Bartlett and West, who must set aside their differences to save the lives of Morehouse's other victims and solve one last game before a dead man’s hired killers catch them and his other enemies.

Deadly Games! is a fast-paced action/thriller featuring action, suspense, murder, and the occasional gunfire from Author Bobby Nash, the writer of Evil Ways, Domino Lady, Lance Star: Sky Ranger, and more.

Look! A Blog Post!

Yesterday was quite productive. In addition to catching up on some emails, calls, and whatnot after a long convention weekend I also wrote a couple of thousand words to finish up a story for Moonstone's third volume of short tales featuring the pulp hero, The Spider and got it sent off to the editor.

The night was capped off by a visit to The Book Cave podcast where I talked about my latest novel, Deadly Games! with The Book Cave's hosts, Art Sippo and Ric Croxtin. I always have a great time on this podcast. Ric and Art ask great questions and we really dug into the meat of the novel. Plus, they had both read it beforehand so they had some specific questions, which led to the creation of a new spoiler-filled section at the end of the show for those who have already read the book. The rest of the episode is spoiler free. The Book Cave episode will go live on Thursday. When that happens I'll be sure to post a link here.

The plan for today is more of the same. This week I have to make a second pass on the graphic novel I'm co-writing with my Earth Station One co-host, Michael Gordon and complete a jungle-themed story for Pulp 2.0 Press.

All in all it looks like a busy week ahead. I hope you enjoy yours.

After the Book Cave last night I dove into my crowded DVR and watched some television. There was some really tightly written TV this week. Castle and Justified continue to be among my favorite shows. Last night's NCIS and NCIS:LA also turned in good episodes. Then I ended the evening with the latest episodes of Green Lantern and Young Justice. Both of those shows are great fun to watch. I am not enjoying the DC Nation shorts though. They're playing them for humor, but I'm not finding them all that funny. Could just be me though.

Have a great week. I'm off to write something.

MID SOUTH CON WRAP UP!

My section of the table I shared with Sean and Anthony.
I had an absolute blast at the MidSouth Con 30 convention in Memphis, Tennessee this past weekend. I just wanted to say a special thank you to the MidSouth Con (especially Carlin & Co.) for inviting me out to be a part of the fun. The fans were enthusiastic and fun to talk with (some even bought some books, which was nice), the panels were fun, and you guys kept me in water and Mt. Dew all weekend, which was almost a full-time job unto itself.

I had a fun time traveling with my pals, Sean Taylor, Mark Maddox, and Anthony Taylor. Laughing along with these guys made the long drive seem a lot shorter.

Black Cat
As expected, the con’s guests were great (too many to mention everyone, but special hey-howdy’s to John Hartness, Van Allen Plexico, Tommy Hancock, Stephen Zimmer, Elizabeth Donald, Barbara Friend Ish, Alan Gilbreath, Glen Cook, J. F. Lewis, Jackie Gamber, Michael D'Ambrosio, Lin Workman, Roland Mann, Eddy Zeno, Mitch Faust, and more I’m sure my sleep-addled brain has forgotten to mention.

I had a great time and I look forward to visiting the Mid South Con again.
